Established in 1904, East Lake Golf Club is Atlanta's oldest golf course and the historic home of legendary golfer Bobby Jones. Originally designed by Tom Bendelow in 1904, the course was completely reworked by Donald Ross in 1913, with his routing remaining largely intact over the decades. George Cobb made modifications in 1959 ahead of the club's 1963 Ryder Cup hosting. Rees Jones completed a restoration in 1993, followed by architect Andrew Green's comprehensive restoration in 2024 using historical photos as design reference.
Since 2005, East Lake has served as the permanent home of the TOUR Championship, the culminating PGA TOUR Playoffs event for the FedEx Cup. The tournament attracts the top 30 players annually. The course has hosted the TOUR Championship 24 times since 1998.
Located in Atlanta, Georgia, East Lake represents a world-class playing experience that honors its historic design legacy while meeting contemporary championship standards. The club is committed to community philanthropy through initiatives including the East Lake Junior Golf Academy, supporting educational opportunities and golf access for local youth.
