Earl of Mar Golf Course

Mar Hall Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course designed by legendary architect Dave Thomas, set within 240 acres of pristine Scottish landscape near Glasgow. The par-70 course features rolling fairways, natural woodlands, and stunning riverside views of the River Clyde, offering a world-class golfing experience just minutes from Glasgow Airport.

The course is characterized by a balance of precision and strategy, winding through varied terrain that combines challenging play with breathtaking scenery. The setting within the estate's woodland edges and rolling greens creates an aesthetically compelling layout that tests golfers' skills across the full 18 holes.

As part of a multi-million-pound resort transformation, the golf experience at Mar Hall is undergoing enhancement and refinement. PGA Professional Christopher McQueen was appointed Head of Golf in spring 2024 to lead the course's development.
