Dunes Golf Club

Dunes Golf Club is an 18-hole course located in Empire, Michigan, in the Glen Lake and Sleeping Bear Dunes area of Northern Michigan. The course stretches 5,730 yards and offers casual, friendly golf in a scenic setting that provides access to the region's outdoor attractions.

The course was originally built in 1982 as a 9-hole layout measuring 3,152 yards. The back nine was added later, opening in fall 1991 and measuring 2,578 yards. Though shorter than the front nine, the back nine presents greater difficulty for most golfers due to its tight, tree-lined fairways that demand accuracy off the tee.

Dunes Golf Club features a practice green and sand trap for pre-round preparation. The facility includes a pro shop with golf supplies, snack bar, and rental clubs available. Both pull and power carts are offered. The Dune Valley Driving Range is located across the road for additional practice opportunities. The combination of reasonable length, tree-lined holes, and the scenic Northern Michigan landscape makes this a suitable course for golfers of varying skill levels seeking a relaxing round.
