Founded in 1922, Dunany Country Club is a private nine-hole golf course located in the Laurentian foothills of Quebec. The course is recognized as one of the most challenging in the province, featuring significant elevation changes characteristic of the mountainous terrain. The nine holes are named Boyd, Memorial, Wilson Canyon, Haldimand, Minty's Bend, McRobie Walk, Lakeview, Clarence Neill, and Home, reflecting the club's rich history and community heritage.
The layout is designed to accommodate walkers, with a limited number of electric golf carts available for rent. The course presents considerable difficulty due to its topography and design. The club serves its more than 350 members with regular golf leagues for ladies, men, and juniors throughout the summer season, along with a comprehensive tournament calendar culminating in club championships. Regional intersectional competitions are also organized. The renovated clubhouse, updated for the club's 2022 centennial while maintaining its rustic character, serves as the social hub for members and hosts community events.
