Dougalston Golf Course

Dougalston Golf Club is a parkland course located seven miles north of Glasgow in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland. The 18-hole layout measures 6,120 yards and features tree-lined fairways, natural water hazards, and views over the Campsie Fells. The full course opened relatively recently, with the newer holes requiring time to establish before reaching optimal condition.

Water hazards are a defining characteristic throughout the course. The opening hole requires a tee shot over a large pond, offering the possibility of an eagle for bold drives that clear the trees toward the green. The par-3 18th hole provides a notable finishing hole, with water positioned to the right and bunkers flanking both sides of the green, creating a challenging conclusion to the round.

The course has gained popularity among both visitors and members since completion, operating alongside an accompanying health club facility.
