Dothan Country Club

Dothan Country Club, founded in 1923, is an 18-hole golf course located in Dothan, Alabama. The club was established by Patrick B. Jones and approximately one hundred charter members who sought to bring golf to the community. The first round of golf was played on the course in February 1924.

The club has evolved significantly over its history, with a new clubhouse opening in 1957 and a Golf and Fitness Building added in 1989. A comprehensive renovation in 2017-2018 modernized the facility while maintaining its traditional country club atmosphere. Beyond golf, the club offers diverse amenities including six tennis courts, two pickleball courts, a swimming pool, health club facilities, and multiple dining venues. The facility features private function rooms suitable for various events and includes a cocktail lounge and 19th hole Tartan Lounge. The course operates as a private members-only facility dedicated to providing excellence in golf, dining, social events, and sports within a traditional club environment that emphasizes fellowship and camaraderie.
