Dore and Totley Golf Club

Dore and Totley Golf Club is a mature parkland course located in Bradway, South Sheffield, close to the Derbyshire Peak District. The club features 23 holes total, offering two distinct layouts. The original 18-hole winter course is par 70 at 5,785 yards, while a newer, more challenging par 72 course measuring 6,547 yards opened in 2005 and is played from spring to autumn, incorporating five additional holes.

The course layout includes a variety of hole types, with par 3s, 4s, and 5s distributed throughout both configurations. Signature characteristics include short par 3s, such as the 128-yard 16th hole, alongside substantial par 5s like the opening hole at 525 yards. The terrain and parkland setting provide a traditional English golf experience, with multiple tee positions allowing golfers of varying abilities to enjoy the course.

The dual-course system allows the club to present different challenges seasonally, with stroke indices varying across the layouts to accommodate different player handicaps. The course design reflects its maturity and established reputation within South Sheffield's golfing community.
