Dewsbury District Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course located in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, overlooking the surrounding landscape with panoramic views. Designed by renowned architect Dr. Alistair Mackenzie, the course presents a challenging test of golf with a distinctive hillside setting. The opening holes feature notable elevation changes, particularly the first seven holes which climb steeply before the terrain moderates toward the back nine.

The course is characterized by its well-maintained greens and fairways, with several memorable holes throughout the layout. The 9th green is highlighted as a standout feature, showcasing Mackenzie's design excellence, while the 14th hole's drive-off is described as iconic. The club features a signature hole at the 14th, known as "Ridges."
