Denstone College Golf Club

Denstone College Golf Club is a 9-hole course located within the grounds of Denstone College in Staffordshire. The layout consists of 5 par-4s and 4 par-3s, making it relatively short but challenging due to narrow fairways and small greens suitable for players of all abilities.

The signature hole is the 207-yard par-3 4th hole, which is tree-lined off the tee with out-of-bounds down the left side and Nab Brook plus the old swimming pool along the right edge. This hole has been rated one of the most challenging par-3s in the country.

The course hosts a full competition schedule throughout the year, including 18-hole competitions held most Sundays during the Lent and Summer terms, a Winter League series on Sunday mornings, and popular Wednesday evening roll-up competitions featuring shotgun starts. Various 9-hole competitions take place with prizes awarded in the village tavern.

Membership is available to pupils, parents, staff, Old Denstonians, and a limited number of associate members from the local community. The course operates on a booking system during designated times when not in use by school pupils.
