Deer Valley Golf Course ☆ Follow

Deer Valley Golf Course is a public 18-hole regulation course located in Hummelstown, PA and only a few miles from Hershey and Harrisburg, PA. The 18-hole Deer Valley course features 6,027 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 and was designed by Bill Wall, opening in 2005. The layout features large, elevated greens and massive multi-tiered tees, with views stretching from the course's peaks all the way to Hershey and the Blue Mountains.

The winding layout twists and turns, doglegging left and right, presenting a challenging layout despite the absence of sand bunkers, with thick rough and a number of grass bunkers to watch out for, while water only makes a brief appearance. It offers large elevated greens, massive multi-tiered tees, and unique hybrid dwarf bluegrass fairways. The golf course was designed to accommodate the 16+ Handicap, seniors and ladies.

Since opening in 2005, more than 850 trees have been added and it has matured into a course favored by both visitors and locals. The course includes a state-of-the-art irrigation system and continuous cart paths.
