DEER RUN GOLF COURSE

Deer Run Golf Course is an 18-hole course designed by Earl Stone, located three miles south of Moulton, Alabama, nestled against the Bankhead National Forest. The course has maintained popularity for over 30 years among both locals and tourists. It features large undulating bent-grass greens and Tifton Bermuda grass on fairways, tees, and roughs. The layout includes five lakes, 30 bunkers, and a diverse mix of mountainous, flat, and water holes. Four sets of tees accommodate golfers of varying abilities, with yardages ranging from 5,400 to 6,800 yards. The course is characterized as picturesque and player-friendly, offering an accessible yet engaging round for recreational golfers. The scenic forest setting combined with strategic water and bunker placement provides varied challenge throughout the layout.
