Deep Springs Golf and Country Club is located in a countryside community in Stoneville, North Carolina, offering easy access to the Piedmont Triad region (Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point) and southern Virginia. Designed by Ellis Maples, ASGCA, the course opened in 1971. The 18-hole championship golf course features 6,942 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Deep Springs is an Ellis Maples-designed championship golf course with four sets of tees to accommodate and challenge golfers at any level of ability. The course features 60 bunkers, water in play on 6 holes, Champion Ultra Dwarf Bermuda grass greens, and Tifton 419 Bermuda fairways on the front nine and Varmont Bermuda fairways on the back nine. The greens were updated to a hybrid grass and usually play very fast, while the scenery around the course adds to the experience. The longest hole is number 2, a par-5 that plays to 536 yards.
