Designed by Jeffrey Brauer and opened in 1995, Cross Timbers Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 course located in Azle, Texas, conveniently situated near Fort Worth, Weatherford, and Lake Worth. The course winds through hilly, wooded terrain adjacent to Ash Creek in the Cross Timbers region of north Texas, featuring the distinctive landscape characteristics of the Hill Country with multiple elevation changes and natural topography.

The course presents varied challenges for golfers of all skill levels, incorporating undulating fairways, natural hazards, strategic bunkering, and greenside collection areas. It maintains Champion Bermuda greens and is known for excellent course conditions. Cross Timbers has earned a strong reputation among both local and Dallas-Fort Worth area golfers. The course is notably the home course of Robert Landers, an Azle farmer who achieved prominence as a player on the PGA Champions Tour. The facility includes practice amenities and hosts tournaments and events throughout the year.
