Course B (Centro) at Real Novo Sancti Petri is an 18-hole, par-72 golf course located in Chiclana de la Frontera, Cádiz, in the Costa de la Luz region of Andalucía. Designed by legendary Spanish golfer Severiano Ballesteros, the course opened with its first 27 holes in 1990, with these additional 9 holes completed in April 2001. The Centro course measures 6,041 metres and is characterized by distinctive variety in its layout and difficulty.
The first nine holes present relatively flat terrain with a lake positioned between holes 5, 8, and 9. From holes 10 to 13, the terrain becomes undulating and features excellent views of the Atlantic Ocean, with water hazards guarding holes 10 and 13. The course's distinctive design includes six par-3 holes, six par-4 holes, and six par-5 holes—an unusual configuration that provides balanced challenge. The signature feature is the 18th hole, where Ballesteros incorporated a bunker shaped like an "S" as a personal signature.
Situated on the Atlantic shoreline at La Barrosa beach, the course is surrounded by native vegetation including pine trees, cork oaks, mastic trees, and olive trees, requiring precision and concentration from players. Real Novo Sancti Petri holds Royal status (granted in 2016) and is recognized as one of Europe's premier golf destinations, with comprehensive facilities including a golf academy, practice range, restaurants, and pro shop.
