Country Side Golf Course is a 27-hole public facility located in Sherwood Park, Alberta, situated on land that has been farmed by the Seutter family since 1912. The course is divided into three distinct nine-hole layouts: the Prairies, the Meadows, and the Woodlands. The Prairies and Meadows courses combine to form a traditional 18-hole championship-length round, while the Woodlands offers a classic nine-hole layout with an additional bonus hole, creating a ten-hole experience. The facility also includes a full-length driving range featuring an elevated natural grass tee area. The course was founded by Harry and Bonnie Seutter, who drew on their previous experience managing Ravine View Golf Course in Edmonton. The Woodlands nine opened in late 1985, followed by the Meadows nine two seasons later. The Prairies nine was added thirteen years after that, in 1998, completing the 27-hole facility. The Seutter family has maintained family ownership and operation since the club's inception, emphasizing a welcoming and approachable style of play. A new clubhouse opened in 2011, providing a licensed facility with a banquet hall and private courtyard. The course is known for its continuous upgrades and improvements aimed at maintaining playability and enjoyment. The setting reflects a respect for the land, offering a relaxed atmosphere for golfers in the Edmonton area.
