Country Hills Golf Club is a private members-only facility in Calgary, Alberta, featuring 36 holes across two championship courses set within Sandstone Valley's distinctive west-facing cliffs. The Ridge Course, designed by David Bennet and opened in August 1990, offers a lush parkland experience with scenic city views from elevated tee boxes before descending through the valley. The Talons Course, originally called the Links Course, underwent a $6 million redesign by Thomas McBroom and features five lakes, the meandering Nose Creek, and strategically placed bunkers creating a challenging layout. Both courses showcase the natural terrain and landscape characteristics of their setting. The club includes a 36,000 square-foot clubhouse completed in 1999, state-of-the-art practice facilities, and dining amenities. Located conveniently near Calgary's airport with access from all quadrants of the city, the club operates on a not-for-profit equity membership model emphasizing community and accessibility for golfers of varying skill levels. The facility hosts tournaments and special events throughout the year.
