Country Club of Winter Haven

Country Club of Winter Haven is a historic private golf club established in 1923 in Winter Haven, Florida. The course features a full 18-hole layout situated on 200 scenic acres with a mile of lakefront property. The club was originally founded as Lake Region Country Club by ten visionary members who sought to create an exclusive destination combining natural beauty with a welcoming lifestyle.

The property showcases tree-lined fairways and lake views characteristic of the Central Florida landscape. By 1964, the club had developed its complete 18-hole golf course along with clubhouse and golf shop facilities. The course has hosted various tournaments and events throughout its history, serving as a gathering place for members.

In 2013, the club was renamed The Country Club of Winter Haven under new equity member ownership, though it maintained its traditional character and legacy. Today, the course remains a private facility known for its historic significance and scenic setting, continuing the founders' original vision of an exclusive golf destination in the Lake Region area of Florida.
