The Country Club of Petersburg features an 18-hole course spanning 7,013 yards with a par of 72. Designed by Donald J. Ross and Lester George, the course opened in 1928. The course has a rating of 73.9 and a slope rating of 134 on Bermuda grass. The course combines both social and athletic aspects of golf, offering a beautiful landscape as well as an exclusive clubhouse.

The course combines challenging fairways, strategic bunkers, and manicured greens, set against a backdrop of rolling hills and natural beauty. The Country Club of Petersburg continues to boast some of the best greens in Central Virginia. The facility has an onsite driving range with 4 practice tees.
