Council Bluffs Country Club

Council Bluffs Country Club is an 18-hole championship golf course located at 4500 Piute Street in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The course was developed in two phases: the Elks Club initially built nine holes in 1948, and a second nine holes were added in 1970 when Lakeshore Country Club was formed. The club was purchased by three members in 2005 and rebranded as Council Bluffs Country Club.

As a private, member-owned facility, the course serves as the only private golf club in Council Bluffs. In addition to the championship 18-hole layout, the club offers comprehensive amenities including a pro shop, golf instruction, junior golf programs, dining facilities, banquets and catering services, and a pool and fitness center. The club has deep historical roots, tracing its origins to the Council Bluffs Rowing Association founded in 1887. The facility hosts various golf events and member activities throughout the year, supporting an active membership community.
