The Cottonwood Country Club Golf Course, also known as The Woods, is a 1,119 yard Par-3 nine-hole layout designed by renowned Utah architect William Neff and framed by Mount Olympus to the east. The club was established in the 1950s by a close-knit group from the Cottonwood area as a family-centric destination encompassing swimming, tennis, golf, and clubhouse amenities. Holes range from 85 to 175 yards, providing players of all ability levels with opportunities to test their skills, with the unique layout in the heart of Holladay giving the course a distinctive feel within the state.

The Woods is Utah's walking-only golf course, though push carts are allowed and available for members and guests. The compact design and gently rolling terrain allow for easy navigation and an enjoyable experience. William Henrichsen Neff was the foremost golf course architect in Utah during the first boom of golf course construction from 1950 through 1980.
