Collison Par 3 Golf Course

Collison Par 3 Golf Course is an 18-hole par 3 course located in Marshalltown, Iowa, established in 1962. Founded by Dr. David Collison as an expansion of an initial four-hole pitch and putt layout, the course was completed to its full 18 holes by 1972 and remains one of only a few 18-hole par 3 courses in Iowa. The course is currently operated by Mark Collison, Dr. Collison's son.

The layout features holes ranging from 87 to 250 yards, making it accessible to golfers of all ages and skill levels. With a relatively short yardage spread, the course offers moderate difficulty while remaining approachable for beginners and casual players. The course sits on the original 40-acre homestead property, with the layout incorporating greens that were initially created from excess fill dirt.

Collison Par 3 operates as a walking and cart-friendly facility, with nine and eighteen-hole play options available. The course does not require advance tee times, allowing for spontaneous rounds. Operating seasonally, it typically closes during winter months.
