Originally established in 1983 as Sunrise Golf, the course has undergone a revitalization while maintaining its identity as an accessible, welcoming facility for the community.

The layout is characterized as a par 3 course suitable for beginners, those refining their short game, and casual players seeking recreational rounds. Recently, the course has partnered with LABsters and expanded its offerings with The Backyard, a 20,000 square-foot state-of-the-art short game practice facility. This addition reflects the course's evolution from a traditional par 3 layout to a comprehensive golf community space blending practice, instruction, and play.
