Clacton-on-Sea Golf Club

Clacton-on-Sea Golf Club is a traditional members' club situated on 110 acres alongside the sea wall in Clacton-on-Sea. The course was designed by James Braid, the renowned Scottish golf architect and five-time Open Champion, making it part of the Association of James Braid Courses, which comprises over 300 member clubs internationally. The coastal setting provides a distinctive landscape characteristic of Essex golf courses. The club offers membership benefits including reciprocal green fee arrangements with other Braid-designed courses across the UK and beyond. The facility maintains active sections for seniors, ladies, and juniors, and welcomes visitors through societies, corporate groups, and open competitions. The club has committed to the R&A Women in Golf Charter, aiming to develop a more inclusive culture and increase female participation at all levels.
