Citywest Golf Club is located in the grounds of Citywest Hotel in a parkland setting, covering 6,010 yards and designed by Christy O'Connor Junior. The course is a par 69 layout featuring manicured fairways, superb putting surfaces, and beautiful tree-lined fairways. The course sits within over 300 acres of woodland in the historic village of Saggart and appeals to both novice and experienced golfers. The front and back nines offer distinct characteristics, with the front nine being shorter and tight with water in play on multiple holes, while the back nine is longer and more open. The Championship Course has hosted prestigious tournaments including the Ladies Irish Open in 1996, won by Alison Nicholas of England. The club also hosted the 1994 Iveco Irish Masters Championship, won by Des Smyth, and the 1996 Guardian Royal Open.
