Designed by Don Herfort, ASGCA, the Cimarron Park golf course opened in 1971. Built in 1971, Cimarron Golf Course is a 9-hole, par 3 course conveniently located in the eastern Metro, just a few short miles from Lake Elmo, Stillwater, and Woodbury Minnesota. The 9-hole "Cimarron Park" course at the Cimarron Golf Course facility in Lake Elmo, Minnesota features 1460 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 27.
Offering a range of distances from just shy of 100 yards to a little over 200 yards, this course has the ability to challenge golfers of every skill level, from beginners to veterans. With mostly straight fairways, golfers are challenged with water hazards and bunkers that hug the the edge of the greens. Some of the holes have a road on the right hand side; a challenge to those that have a tendancy to slice a little too far!
Cimarron Golf Course serves as a central recreational amenity within the Cimarron Park mobile home community in Lake Elmo, Minnesota, designed primarily to enhance the living experience for residents while also welcoming public play.
