Established in 1890, The Cotswolds Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in Oxfordshire. The 18-hole course measures 6,284 yards with a par of 72, featuring two loops of nine holes set on mature, undulating ground. The layout combines classic parkland golf with tree-lined fairways and spectacular views of the Cotswolds countryside.
Located at over 700 feet above sea level near Chipping Norton, the course benefits from excellent drainage, ensuring consistent playing conditions year-round. The design offers a good mix of challenges for golfers of all abilities, with a blend of longer holes and shorter par-3s. The course is maintained to a high standard with immaculate greens.
The terrain is characteristically undulating and often challenging, with strategic bunkering and tree-lined fairways defining the playing experience. Recent recognition includes being voted one of the top three courses in Oxfordshire by National Club Golfer Magazine. The course is complemented by on-site facilities including a TrackMan Swing Studio for coaching and analysis, as well as accommodation and dining facilities through the adjoining Cotswolds Hotel & Spa.
