Chicopee Woods Golf Course

Chicopee Woods Golf Course is a public 27-hole facility located in Gainesville, Georgia, just one mile from I-985 in the rolling foothills of North Georgia. The course features Mini Verde greens and is conveniently positioned near North Atlanta and Gwinnett County.

The layout consists of three distinct nine-hole courses blended to create varied playing experiences. The Village nine is a traditional design with minimal water hazards, large greens, and wide fairways suitable for all skill levels. The School nine, part of the original 18 holes, incorporates water on four holes while maintaining spacious greens and fairways. The Mill nine, the newest addition, complements the existing layout with shorter yardage, a drivable par four, and the course's longest par three.

Built without residential properties on the course, Chicopee Woods serves as a public pay-to-play venue. The facility has hosted significant tournaments including Georgia PGA sectional and state championships, as well as a Georgia Public Links Championship, establishing its credentials as a legitimate test of golfing ability.
