Cheviot Golf Course

Cheviot Golf Club is a unique 12-hole course located five minutes west of Cheviot township, approximately 90 minutes north of Christchurch and 55 minutes south of Kaikoura along State Highway 1. The course is set on flat terrain with scenic views of the Kaikoura Mountains. The layout features beautiful landscaping with numerous trees and a small stream that runs through the property, coming into play on several holes.

With a men's rating of 69.2 and a slope of 128, the course measures 6,147 metres for men and 5,038 metres for ladies. The ladies' rating is 70.2 with a slope of 118. Competition play runs seasonally from March to October, with men's competitions held on Saturdays and ladies' competitions on Thursdays.

The clubhouse facilities include a bar and function room available for hire by groups and for promotional activities. The club welcomes visitors year-round, and Cheviot township serves as a hub for various visitor activities in the region.
