The Cheshire Course is an 18-hole, par 72 golf course located at Carden Park estate in Cheshire, England. Situated at the back of the estate, the course offers beautiful views across the parkland and the Welsh hills beyond. The layout spans approximately 6,800+ yards and features challenging hole designs with bunkers flowing with the natural contours of the landscape.
The course presents a test of skill for golfers of all abilities, characterized by strategic bunkering and natural hazards throughout. Notable holes include the 9th, a long par 4 uphill mostly playing into the wind with a well-bunkered green, and the 18th hole set upon a cliff overlooking the full estate, providing a dramatic finishing hole. The 15th features a water hazard on the left side, requiring careful tee shots and strategic second shots.
The Cheshire Course complements Carden Park's Nicklaus Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus and his son Steve. Together, they form part of England's Best Golf Hotel at the World Golf Awards. An average four-ball can expect to complete the course in approximately 4.5 hours.
