Chaska Golf Course is located in Appleton, Wisconsin, and opened to the public in May 1975. Designed by renowned architect Larry Packard, the course encompasses over 200 acres and was built by Oscar Boldt, whose company has owned it since its inception. The course name derives from a Native American term meaning "Great White Deer."
The layout features professionally designed tees, bunkers, fairways, and greens characterized by three defining elements: woods, wind, and water. This combination creates a challenging yet balanced playing experience suited for various skill levels. The course has become a fixture in the Fox Cities region and remains popular among public-access golfers.
Chaska Golf Course has earned substantial recognition, including a four-star rating from Golf Digest's "Places to Play," Wisconsin's Top 25 Public Courses designation, and multiple awards from the Golf Course Owners of Wisconsin. It has hosted numerous Wisconsin State Golf Association events and maintains Travel Green Wisconsin Certification. The course is known for its well-maintained conditions and has been voted Best Public Golf Course in the Fox River Valley.
