Chartiers Country Club is an 18-hole championship course featuring 6,562 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70, originally opened in 1919. The course was designed by acclaimed golf course architect Willie Park, Jr., a two-time British Open Champion, who traveled from Scotland to create this classic championship golf course in the wooded hills above Pittsburgh. The course has a rating of 71.3 and a slope rating of 129 on Bent grass. The current master plan for the golf course was updated notably in 2020 by Hills, Forrest, Smith.

Nestled in wooded hills with views of Pittsburgh's skyline, the course is situated in a scenic setting that has attracted notable golfers throughout its history. The club has hosted famous golf professionals and players like Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, and Arnold Palmer. The last tournament at Chartiers to draw a field of nationally ranked tour professionals was one sponsored by Ford Motor Company and area Ford dealers in 1964.

Well-groomed fairways and greens keep Chartiers Country Club difficult yet friendly. The course features excellent practicing areas including a full driving range, large putting green, chipping area, and short range with multiple greens within 100 yards and bunkers.
