Charlie Vettner Golf Course

Charlie Vettiner Golf Course is a scenic layout located in Louisville, Kentucky, featuring rolling hills and well-maintained grounds. The course includes bent grass greens and zoysia fairways with 50 white sand bunkers strategically positioned throughout. A meandering creek flows through several holes, with water hazards on holes 5, 14, and 18 that add to the course's challenge.

The course has been rated as the 7th most challenging course in Kentucky. It accommodates golfers of all skill levels with multiple tee options: Championship (blue), Men's (white), Seniors (yellow), and Ladies (red). The tree-lined fairways provide an aesthetically pleasing yet demanding round.

Charlie Vettiner hosts competitive events including the Men's Metro Golf Tournament and the Ladies Jefferson County Tournament. The facility offers a full pro shop, snack bar, putting green, chipping green, and large hitting area. The course supports junior development through lessons and a junior club program. Various leagues operate throughout the season, including Men's Club, Ladies League, and a Senior League that runs Tuesday mornings from April through October.
