Located in Saint John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, the Cedar Valley Golf Club features an 18-hole, par 70 championship course designed by Ralph Aldridge. The facility originally opened with nine holes in 1970 before expanding to its full eighteen-hole layout in 1977. The course spans 6,157 yards from the blue tees, with white tees measuring 5,884 yards and red tees at 5,528 yards. It is characterized by moderate technical difficulty and is set amidst mature tropical trees with views of hills and the Caribbean Sea. The layout is defined by significant elevation changes and strategic hazards. The front nine includes the par-4 first hole, which plays down an open fairway with out-of-bounds on either side, and the par-3 second, where the green breaks sharply at the rear. The third hole presents a water hazard followed by a sharp dogleg and an elevated, tiered green guarded by a deep bunker. The sixth hole requires a tee shot over brush from an elevated platform onto a sharply slanted fairway, while the ninth hole is a par-5 that tempts players over trees on a steep dogleg with a steeply sloping green. The back nine continues the challenging terrain with the par-4 tenth hole, which features a green that slopes from back to front and is trapped on both sides. The eleventh is a par-3 with an elevated tee, a pond to the right, and a trap to the left. The twelfth hole is a dogleg right that plays up a steep hill with very little room behind the green. The fourteenth hole requires clearing a dry lake before an uphill fairway leads to a steep green protected by bunkers. Signature holes include the par-5 sixteenth, which offers an elevated tee and a glorious open fairway that narrows by a dry lake, making the second shot choice critical. The eighteenth hole is a par-4 from an elevated tee to an undulating fairway, ending on an elevated green with traps on the left side and right front. The green slopes from back to front and features a crown in the center. The course accommodates players of all skill levels and requires spikeless golf cleats or training shoes.
