Honatsugi Country Club

Honatsugi Country Club is an 18-hole members-only golf course located in Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Designed by Akahoshi Shiro, the course opened in November 1962 and was completed with all 18 holes by September 1966. The layout initially operated with 15 holes before expanding to its full configuration.

The club is situated in the Iiyama area of Atsugi city, offering a traditional Japanese country club experience. The course features Bentgrass greens, which underwent conversion work completed in October 2007, and utilizes electromagnetic induction-operated golf carts introduced in 2005. The facility includes a practice range, restaurant, and pro shop to serve its membership.

The club maintains a membership base of over 1,300 members, including special members, individual members, weekday-only members, and corporate members. The current clubhouse has been in operation since December 1990, and the facility celebrated its 50th anniversary in November 2012, underscoring its established presence in the Japanese golf community.
