Hampyeong Elysee is an 18-hole championship golf course featuring a full 18-hole layout with varied par-4, par-5, and par-3 holes. The course includes signature holes such as the 180-meter island green par-3 (hole 7) with stone walls and surrounding bunkers, and the 530-meter par-5 (hole 19) featuring dramatic elevation changes and deep fairway bunkering.

The course is characterized by strategic bunkering, water hazards including lakes, and significant elevation changes throughout. Key design elements include multiple fairway bunkers, pot bunkers, and elevated greens. The terrain features rolling hills with dramatic changes in elevation, creating challenging uphill and downhill holes that demand both accuracy and distance control.

Difficulty varies considerably across the layout. Notable challenging holes include the 420-meter closing par-4 (hole 18), described as the longest on the course, and the 382-meter par-4 hole 8, rated as one of the most difficult. The course also incorporates scenic elements such as an artificial waterfall near hole 16.
