Asahi Kokusai Takarazuka Country Club is an 18-hole, par 72 golf course located in Takarazuka, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. The layout is divided into two distinct nine-hole loops. The front nine is characterized by strategic shot-making, featuring water hazards such as a creek crossing the first hole and a water hazard guarding the 17th tee. The back nine offers a flatter, more expansive fairway layout that rewards distance, with several long par-4s and par-5s. The course measures 6,583 yards from the back tees, with a Course Rating of 71.4 and a Slope Rating of 134 for men. The front nine demands precision off the tee. The opening hole is a 361-yard par 4 that requires a carry over a creek, while the 6th hole stretches to 481 yards with a slight uphill approach. The 7th hole, a 508-yard par 5, is recommended for long-drive competitions, challenging players to navigate around bunkers. The 8th hole presents a 230-yard par 3 where the right side of the green drops off into a steep bank, penalizing errant shots. The 9th hole finishes the front nine with a 423-yard par 4 that plays uphill to a green that can be difficult to hold if the ball is struck too long. The back nine begins with the 10th hole, a 351-yard par 4 that plays to a fairway marked by a prominent pine tree. The 12th hole is a demanding 543-yard par 5 that requires a precise approach shot to a green guarded by towers. The 13th hole is a short, 149-yard par 3 played from an elevated tee, offering a downhill view of a two-tiered green. The 16th hole provides a relatively straightforward 465-yard par 4 with a wide landing area, while the 18th hole serves as a closing test at 502 yards, offering birdie opportunities for long hitters who can reach the green in two shots. The course is known for its natural beauty, incorporating trees, clear streams, and ponds into the design. It hosts regular tournaments, including the annual "Opening Memorial Cup" and the Takarazuka Golf Circuit. The facility also features an approach practice range that opened in July 2024. The course is part of the Asahi Kokusai Group, which operates other golf facilities in the region.
