Carthage Golf Course

Carthage Golf Club is a 9-hole par 35 course located along a scenic lake road near Jaycee Park in Carthage, Illinois. The course measures 2,800 yards and features varied hole designs that challenge golfers of all skill levels. Notable holes include the 120-yard par 3 on Hole 2, which plays over water, the 520-yard straight-away on Hole 5, and doglegs on Holes 4 and 8. The layout provides an engaging mix of short and long holes suitable for recreational play. Beyond golf, the facility offers clubhouse rental and an on-site campground. The surrounding area provides additional amenities including nearby disc golf, a swimming pool, dog park, and walking trails at Jaycee Park, as well as a winery across the lake and various restaurants and shops in town. The club hosts leagues throughout spring, summer, and fall, including men's, women's, couples, and junior divisions, along with special tournaments and fundraisers.
