Real Club Pineda de Sevilla is an 18-hole course located on the Avenida de Jerez, approximately three kilometres from the centre of Seville. The course was designed by Rodrigo and Felipe Medina Benjumea and inaugurated in 1939, making it the oldest golf course in the province and, for many decades, the only one — a distinction it held until 1991. It is a strictly private club, accessible only to members and their guests. The course plays to a par of 72 and the terrain is almost entirely flat, with a gentle slope towards the River Guadaíra. Fairways are wide and separated by dense vegetation, with stone pines and palm trees the most prominent species throughout the layout. The greens are notably small and flat, with water hazards positioned to complicate approach shots on several holes.

The opening hole is widely regarded as the most demanding on the course, a par-4 with a pronounced dogleg that demands careful positioning off the tee. The layout has an unusual characteristic in that two holes pass through the grounds of the adjacent racecourse, giving those sections a markedly different feel from the pine-lined back nine. The two halves of the course have distinct characters: the front nine is more open and singular in setting, while the back nine is closely framed by trees and features lakes that add strategic complexity.

Beyond golf, the Real Club Pineda operates as a broad social and sporting club, with facilities that extend well beyond the course itself, reflecting its long-standing role as one of Seville's most established private members' clubs.
