The Country Club de Barranquilla's golf course is an 18-hole facility located at the club's Sabanilla site, situated at Km. 10 on the old road to Puerto Colombia. The club was founded on December 27, 1926, originally establishing its facilities in Barranquilla's El Prado neighborhood, where golf and tennis were the primary sports. The golf course was relocated to the Sabanilla site on March 19, 1983, moving from the original location which is now occupied by residential neighborhoods.

The club has a long history of hosting golf tournaments, notably the Abierto Internacional de Golf, which began in 1951 during the club's silver anniversary celebrations. The facility also participates in the Copa Colombia, with the top three players from the club's general ranking earning direct spots on the team representing the club in this national competition. The club also organizes the Gira Country Club, an annual competition series comprising eight events with six stops, featuring both individual and pair tournaments.

In 2021, the club initiated a Plan de Intervención for the golf course, aiming to establish the facility as a national reference in golf. The course is maintained to support various competitive levels, from junior academies to senior players, with handicap fees and membership tiers supporting the sport's development within the club. The golf program includes an academy that trains children and young adults through structured levels, fostering values of teamwork and respect while preparing players for local and national competitions. The golf course serves as a central part of the Country Club's identity as a premier social and sports club in Barranquilla, Colombia.
