El Delfín Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72 championship layout located on the western side of San Francisco de Campeche, the capital of the state of Campeche, Mexico. Designed by architect Greg Letsche, the course is set within a tropical jungle landscape characterized by rolling hills, valleys, and significant elevation changes that create downhill shots throughout the round. The terrain offers views of the Bay of Campeche and surrounding green mountains, integrating the natural topography into the routing. The fairways are maintained with Bermuda 4/19 grass, while the greens utilize Tiff Eagle turf. The course is divided into two nine-hole loops, with the front nine playing to a par of 37 and the back nine to a par of 35. Letsche, known for his work with prominent figures in the sport, designed the layout to be challenging yet energetic, utilizing the undulating terrain to test golfers' accuracy and course management. A distinctive feature of the facility is its expansive practice area, described as a large, tree-lined table in the country, which includes six executive holes surrounded by bunkers. These short holes often function as a nine-hole short course, providing a unique practice environment for members and visitors. The course also features a snack area and a pro shop to support play. El Delfín Golf Course has established a history of hosting significant amateur events. It was selected by the Mexican Golf Federation as the host venue for the National Amateur Tournament of Mexico in its inaugural year, attracting players from various countries and consecutive selections in 2017. This tournament is recognized as the most important amateur golf event in Mexico and one of the top competitions in Latin America. The club also hosts an annual Anniversary Tournament for its members and their guests, as well as other regional events such as the Southeast Youth and Junior Tour and Interclub Tournaments.
