Cambrian Ridge is a 27-hole championship golf course located in Greenville, Alabama, approximately 40 miles from Montgomery. The course comprises three distinct nines: Canyon, Loblolly, and Sherling, each offering unique characteristics and playing experiences.

The Canyon nine features target-style golf carved from former hunting grounds, presenting a thrilling and challenging layout. The Loblolly nine is characterized by gently rolling fairways, massive bunkers, cathedral-like pines, and water-fronted greens, evoking an Augusta-like quality. The Sherling nine begins at the highest point in Butler County and descends to play along Sherling Lake, culminating in a dramatic final hole.

Named by Golf Digest as the third best new public course in America in 1994, Cambrian Ridge underwent a comprehensive three-year renovation completed in 2016. The redesign included new greens accommodating faster play with Ultradwarf Bermuda grass and numerous holes reconfigured to showcase views of Sherling Lake while maintaining playability for all skill levels.

The course hosts the annual Father/Son Championship on Memorial Day weekend, a popular event on the RTJ Golf Trail. The spectacular lakeside setting and challenging design make Cambrian Ridge recognized as one of the most beautiful and demanding courses in the state.
