Bulawayo Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 72 course rated 4-star, located in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe along the Matsheumhlope River. Founded in 1895, it is the first golf club established in the country, originally comprising 9 holes before expanding to its current layout. The course is built along the river valley, with the landscape featuring the natural terrain of the region at an altitude of 1,356 meters.
The club holds significant historical importance, having hosted the first Rhodesian Amateur Championship in 1912 and entertained Edward, Prince of Wales, in 1930—an honor reflected in the club's badge featuring the three feathers of the Prince of Wales emblem. Notable features include the 16th tee, historically significant in the Prince's visit. The course underwent notable developments, including early experimental grass greens in the 1920s that were initially unsuccessful before suitable grasses were identified. The club maintains active membership sections including a Thursday Club established in 1963 and a ladies section dating to 1900. Modern facilities include a pro shop called the Golf Hub and on-site dining.
