Buffalo Peak Golf Course

Buffalo Peak Golf Course is an 18-hole links-style course designed by William Phillips, located on the edge of Union in Eastern Oregon, sixteen miles southeast of La Grande. Owned and managed by Union County, Oregon, the course is set against a stunning backdrop of the Blue Mountains with panoramic views of the Grande Ronde Valley and surrounding Wallowa and Blue Mountain ranges.

The design emphasizes the natural landscape, incorporating native vegetation and dramatic terrain that captures the spirit of traditional links golf. Key features include elevated tees, gently sloping fairways, ponds, and fountains throughout the layout. The opening hole features notably elevated tees, while the finishing eighteenth hole presents a gently sloping fairway.
