Bridger Creek Golf Course is an 18-hole championship layout located at the base of the Bridger Mountains, ten minutes from downtown Bozeman, Montana. Designed by Mac Hunter, an accomplished player and golf course consultant, the course spans multiple tees with varying yardages to accommodate different skill levels.
The course features a challenging design with strategic use of water hazards, bunkers, and elevation changes throughout. Notable characteristics include the confluence of Bridger Creek and Rocky Creek behind the second green, which feeds into the East Gallatin River. The back nine includes what the course calls its "Amen Corner"—holes 14-16—which typically determine scoring performance.
Signature holes include the par-3 15th, rated as one of Montana's most difficult at over 200 yards from the blue tees with out-of-bounds and lateral hazards, and the finishing par-4 18th at 582 yards, which requires precise positioning off the tee to avoid cottonwoods lining Bridger Creek. The course is known for its undulating greens, narrow landing areas, and scenic mountain views.
With 30 years of operation, Bridger Creek has hosted two U.S. Amateur qualifiers and numerous state and regional tournaments. The course maintains a strong emphasis on instruction through its affiliated Rocky Mountain Golf Academy, offering comprehensive teaching programs.
