Briarwood Country Club

Briarwood Country Club is a private members-only golf facility located in Sun City West, Arizona, approximately 15 minutes from Peoria and Surprise. The course is a Greg Nash design featuring tree-lined fairways that extend up to 6,600 yards, showcasing Nash's full design capabilities through undulating terrain and demanding shot selection challenges. The layout emphasizes an uncrowded playing experience with rounds typically completed in three hours or less.

Beyond golf, the club operates a 30,000 square-foot clubhouse, renovated in 2024, with a full-service restaurant and bar offering lunch and dinner service. The facility accommodates member events, private parties, and destination weddings for 50 to 500 guests. Additional amenities include a members-only swimming pool and a travel club organizing curated tours.

Established over 40 years ago, Briarwood was acquired by Swing First Golf in 2024. The club welcomes both golf and social members of all ages and emphasizes personalized service and member camaraderie through golf and social programming. It operates as a sister course to Palmbrook Country Club and Union Hills Golf Club, also Greg Nash designs.
