Bodø Golfpark is an 18-hole, par 71 course located in Bodø, Norway, just minutes from the city center and airport. The layout is described as a combination of links and forest, with the front nine holes traversing an old cultural landscape along the sea. The course features a driving range, a putting green, and a short-course training area. The terrain includes views of the sea, islands, and rocky outcrops, with the first nine holes offering vistas toward Landegode and the Lofoten wall. The course is known for its unique setting in Northern Norway, where golfers can play under the midnight sun. The front nine holes are characterized by their proximity to the water and the presence of historical features, including an old "Viking grave" and an old ship anchor that are in play. The back nine holes transition into a forested environment. The course includes a mix of par 3, par 4, and par 5 holes, with distances varying by tee color. Hole 1 is a short par 3, 110 meters from the yellow tees and 100 meters from the red tees, featuring two bunkers in front of the green and out-of-bounds to the right. Hole 8 is a par 3, 171 meters from the yellow tees and 121 meters from the red tees. The course also includes a 6-hole short course located in Saltstraumen, which was opened in 1998. Bodø Golfpark is owned by Salten Golf Club, which was founded in 1992. The club has grown from a small group of enthusiasts to become the largest golf club in Northern Norway. The course has hosted various tournaments and events, including the Lag-NM (Team Championship) in the 2nd division. The club also offers training groups and courses for beginners.
