Located in the Shunyi district of Beijing, the Black Knight Players Club is an 18-hole private golf course designed by Gary Player. The 7,200-square-meter facility is situated on a 1,200-acre site in the Tianzhu area, featuring an inland parkland layout that incorporates natural species, two streams, and small bridges. The course is constructed with firm ground conditions and fast, steady green speeds, presenting a challenging test for golfers of all levels. The design features undulating greens and fairways that wind through the landscape. The course includes large, uniquely shaped bunkers positioned around landing areas and at the corners of the fairways. The rough around the greens is meticulously trimmed to test short-game skills. Construction was supervised by Flagstick, a global golf course construction management company that has overseen projects in over 12 countries. The club offers a 27-hole layout, with each nine holes providing a different challenge. The facility includes a driving range and a PGA Academy training center established in partnership with the United States PGA. The club also features a fitness center equipped with Technogym equipment and a restaurant with private dining rooms. Gary Player, one of the "Big Three" in golf, has designed over 300 courses worldwide and holds 164 professional victories, including nine major championships. The Black Knight Players Club is noted as the first club globally designed and managed by Gary Player. The club opened for trial operations in August 2018 and has hosted events such as the PGA Academy training programs.
