The Bicheno Golf Club is located on the sunny east coast of Tasmania about 5km north of the town of Bicheno. The course consists of 9 holes and 18 tees with fully irrigated course and greens to provide excellent playing conditions all year round. The par of the course is 71. Alf Toogood, a professional coach based at Kingston golf course, was hired to design the Bicheno course.
The golf club was built in 1968. The course is open seven days a week and has a fully equipped clubhouse. The course offers a relaxing yet challenging layout surrounded by stunning Tasmanian landscapes, perfect for players of all skill levels.
The club hosts regular competitions, including Saturday mixed competitions open to members and visitors, and Wednesday and Friday 9-hole Chicken Runs open to all. The fully irrigated condition year-round has made Bicheno recognized as one of the finest 9-hole courses in Tasmania.
