Beverley and East Riding Golf Club

Beverley and East Riding Golf Club, founded in 1889, is the oldest inland golf club in Yorkshire. The 18-hole course is situated on Beverley Westwood, a distinctive pasture landscape characterized by its historic landmarks, including the Black Mill and Anti-Mill, around which the traditional clubhouse is built. The course represents one of Yorkshire's finest natural layouts, offering outstanding views of the town and surrounding countryside from numerous vantage points throughout play. The design emphasizes the natural terrain of the Westwood setting, creating a traditional links-style experience despite its inland location. The club maintains Safe Golf accreditation and welcomes visitors. As home to the East Riding Union and host to the Beverley & East Riding Challenge Cup, the club has established itself as a significant venue within the regional golf community.
