Originally established in the 1950s as Pinecrest Golf Course on a converted family farm, the course has undergone several ownership changes and rebranding. The property was transformed into Netherwood's Country Club under the Lowe family before becoming Berlin Country Club in 1983 under new ownership focused on turf management, which is reflected in the course's well-maintained conditions today.

The facility serves as both a golf course and an event venue, accommodating groups ranging from 16 to 72 golfers for outings and corporate functions. It also features the Hitchcock Room for special events.
